 Some Quiet Spell
« Thread Started on Oct 2, 2003, 11:49pm »

I know I posted a link to my weblog before, but I thought I'd post another one here to give more detailed information. I'm posting it here rather than in the "Internet" section because of its literary nature. I will be posting mostly creative writings on it, as well as a few photos and thoughts. If anyone is interested in what I have written and/or would like to comment on my writings, please feel free to do so, either here or through email (or on xanga, if you'd like to join).

Thanks!

The measure of Mullet Greatness is called Mulletude, which can be calculated by mulliplying Mullet size by Mullet attitude, thereby allowing even a small-haired Mullet to make up for it with Mullet confidence and style. Only those few with true Mullet Greatness obtain the title of Mullet King.

I just wanted to let everyone know that my blog is sort of branching out now, so it isn't only about my poetry. I've also been writing a lot about life issues and getting some great discussions going among the people who've been commenting. There are a lot of awesome people who have blogs out there on xanga (there's also a lot of crap-- luckily my blog attracts the good stuff). I've been finding blogging on xanga a very rewarding experience, and I'm very proud of what it has allowed me to say and discover.

So, if you're not up for poetry, but you are up for thinking and discussion, you might want to check it out. In addition, you might want to check out some of the blogs I'm subscribed to. Naminanu's recent blog (http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=Naminanu), for example, was really awesome and inspiring.

I've been really impressed by the growth of your blog, as well as the intensity of the responses it's gotten. You've done an amazing job putting yourself out there for the benefit of others and, as the reader comments clearly show, you've made quite a difference in several people's lives.

Truly remarkable. and well beyond the bounds of "wow. Some people think the stuff I've been writing is cool".
